Are you bloated?

We all get bloated from time to time and in this article I will set up the main reasons why you might be bloated and what you can do about it.

Here are several reasons why you might be bloated in the first place:

  1. You don’t do number 2 in the toilet often enough
  2. You have sensitivities, allergies or intolerances to certain foods
  3. Low stomach acid
  4. Low digestive enzymes
  5. Eating too fast, not chewing, swallowing too much air
  6. Gut issues such as IBS, SIBO…
  7. Eating too much fiber that doesn’t sit well with you

Here are some of the things you can start with:

  1. Walking after a meal even for 15-20min
  2. Getting on a low FODMAP diet
  3. Taking digestive enzymes and probiotics
  4. Chewing your food and drinking loads of water
  5. Keep journaling what food makes you feel good and which doesn’t
  6. Do some gut tests to figure out if you don’t have a bacteria in your gut lining
  7. Try some home remedies like ginger tea
